SKUAST-Jammu invites M.V.Sc. qualified candidates for a walk-in interview on 18 July 2025 for a Project Associate post under a DBT-funded research project.

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) has invited eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for one post of Project Associate-I on a contractual basis. The recruitment is under the DBT-funded project titled “Biodegradable multi-unit intra-ruminal devices for long-term time-controlled pulsatile release of nutrients supplements & de-worming drugs to enhance production and reproduction in cattle.”

The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project duration. The interview will be held on 18 July 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Directorate of Research, SKUAST-J, Chatha campus.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must hold an M.V.Sc. degree in Veterinary and Animal Sciences. A valid NET qualification is compulsory for all candidates, including those holding a Ph.D. or professional degrees. Those without NET will be eligible for a reduced salary.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in handling animals, blood collection from cattle/buffalo, molecular techniques, and knowledge of nanoparticles.

Salary:
For NET qualified candidates: Rs. 31,000 per month + 9% HRA
For non-NET candidates: Rs. 25,000 per month + 9% HRA
