Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited has released the official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for various Trade Apprentice posts. A total of 523 vacancies are available across multiple trades such as Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Pipe Fitter, Draftsman, and others.
As per the official notice of Mazagon Dock Apprentice Jobs Notification 2025, the minimum age varies between 14 to 15 years and the upper age limit ranges from 18 to 21 years depending on the group of trades. The monthly stipend will be provided as per government apprenticeship rules. Candidates will be selected through an online examination followed by an interview.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Group A (Draftsman, Electrician, Fitter, Pipe Fitter, Structural Fitter): Candidates must have passed Class 10th with General Science and Mathematics.
For Group B (ITI trades): Candidates must have passed Class 10th or 8th along with ITI in relevant trade from a recognized institute.
For Group C (Welder, Carpenter, Rigger): Minimum educational qualification is Class 8th passed with ITI in the respective trade.
Age Limit:
The minimum and maximum age limits for Group A trades are 15 to 19 years, for Group B trades are 16 to 21 years, and for Group C trades are 14 to 18 years. Age will be calculated as on 1st October 2025.

Application Fee:
The application fee for the recruitment process is structured according to categories: General, OBC, SEBC and EWS category candidates are required to pay Rs. 100. SC, ST and PwD candidates are exempted from fee payment.

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of the Online Test and Interview. The written exam will be conducted on 2nd August 2025. Candidates who qualify the online test will be shortlisted for interview based on merit.
