SCI Notification 2025: Online Applications Open for 26 Court Programmer Posts

The Supreme Court of India (SCI) has announced a fresh opportunity for qualified candidates seeking positions as Court Programmers. The recruitment drive is for 26 posts including Senior and Junior Programmer roles in Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted category. Applications are now invited through the official website for direct recruitment as per the prescribed qualifications and age limit.

As per the SCI Notification F.6/RC/Sr.&Jr. Programmer/2025 dated June 5, 2025, the vacancies include 6 Senior Court Assistant-cum-Senior Programmer posts and 20 Junior Court Assistant-cum-Junior Programmer posts. The appointment will be based in the Registry of the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi. Candidates must meet the educational and experience criteria to be considered eligible.

The online application process will remain open from 06 June 2025 to 27 June 2025 (till 11:55 PM). Candidates are advised to complete the application within the given timeline and prepare for a multi-stage selection process including objective and technical tests, practical assessment, and an interview. 2) Post Name: Junior Court Assistant-cum-Junior Programmer
No. of Posts: 20


Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
For Senior Court Assistant-cum-Senior Programmer: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or M.Sc (Computer Science)/MCA or B.Sc (CS)/BCA with at least 60% marks and 7 years’ experience in computerization. A Degree in Law will be an added advantage

For Junior Court Assistant-cum-Junior Programmer: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or B.Sc (CS)/BCA from a recognized university or equivalent

Age Limit:
Senior Court Assistant: 18 to 35 years
Junior Court Assistant: 18 to 30 years

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen and Freedom Fighter dependents as per government rules. No upper age limit for eligible SCI registry employees

Application Fee:
The application fee for the recruitment process is structured according to categories:
Rs. 1000/- for General and OBC candidates
Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Differently Abled/Dependents of Freedom Fighters
The payment must be made online via UCO Bank Gateway.


Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of the following process:
Written (Objective) Test on General English, Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude
Objective Type Technical Aptitude Test
Practical Aptitude Test
Interview
Candidates must score at least 50% in each stage to qualify. Only shortlisted candidates will proceed to the next round.
