Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for 302 Trade Apprentice positions at IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur. The engagement is for one year under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, and the registration process is open until 30 May 2025.
As mentioned in the official announcement, candidates who have completed their ITI course in relevant trades in 2022 or later are eligible to apply. The apprenticeship offers a monthly stipend between Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 7,700 along with additional facilities as per norms.
Eligible candidates must register and apply online through the official NAPS portal before the last date. Selection will be purely based on merit, calculated from ITI scores. In the case of a tie, preference will be given to the older candidate in age.
Important Dates: The registration process for SAIL Trade Apprentice posts began on 21 May 2025 and will close on 30 May 2025.
