Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has released the official notification inviting applications from experienced and qualified professionals for the posts of Engineer (FTA-Grade II) and Supervisor (FTA-Grade III) in the Quality department. These posts are offered on a fixed tenure appointment basis for a period of two years at the High Pressure Boiler Plant, Trichy.
According to the official notification Advt. No. HPBP/FTA/01/2025, there are 20 vacancies across various quality specialisations. The maximum age limit is 35 years and the minimum is 22 years. The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹84,000 for Engineers and ₹45,000 for Supervisors.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
Engineer (Quality): Full-time B.E./B.Tech or 5-year integrated M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy for Quality Control/Assurance. For Plant Lab, B.E./B.Tech in Chemical or M.Sc in Chemistry.
Supervisor (Quality): Full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum two years post-qualification industry experience in relevant areas is required for all posts. Specific skills like NDT Level II, VT Level II, SAP usage, and knowledge of ASME/IBR codes are preferred.
Age Limit: Minimum age is 22 years and maximum is 35 years as on 1 May 2025. Relaxations: 5 years for SC, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years for PwBD (General), 13 years for PwBD (OBC-NCL), and 15 years for PwBD (SC).

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on screening of applications followed by a personal interview. For NDTL positions, a practical exam will be conducted prior to the interview.
