SKUAST-Kashmir Invites Applications for SRF and Project Assistant Posts – Apply by 30 May

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST-K), Division of Plant Pathology, has released an official advertisement inviting applications for one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and one Project Assistant post. These posts are available under a DBT-funded research project titled “Effector based identification of the immunogenic players in Phaseolus vulgaris against Colletotrichum lindemuthianum: Bridging Basic Research and Translational Applications for Anthracnose Resistance.”

The recruitment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Candidates must submit their application in the prescribed format by 30 May 2025. Interviews will be scheduled later, and shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Monthly Emoluments: ₹20,000 (fixed)


Eligibility Criteria:

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Essential Qualification:
– M.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture in the discipline of Plant Pathology, Plant Biotechnology, or Allied Sciences
– NET qualification is required

Desirable:
– Expertise in Molecular Biology, preferably in bean-anthracnose interface
– Experience with transformation, transient expression, and genome editing

Project Assistant
Essential Qualification:
– M.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture in Plant Pathology or Allied Sciences

Desirable:
– Expertise in Molecular Biology, preferably in the bean-anthracnose interface
