Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak has officially released two separate recruitment notifications for faculty appointments across various teaching departments. The university is inviting online applications for a total of 158 posts, including Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors under both budgeted and self-financing schemes.
As per the official advertisement dated 15 May 2025, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline and fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as per UGC norms. NET/SET or PhD qualification is required as applicable to the post. The pay scale ranges from ₹57,700 to ₹2,18,200 depending on the post applied. Selection will be based on shortlisting through academic scores followed by interviews.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
NET/SET or PhD is mandatory as per UGC regulations.
For Professors and Associate Professors, PhD along with relevant teaching/research experience is required.
Assistant Professors must meet UGC norms and be NET qualified or hold a qualifying PhD.
Age Limit:
Minimum age: 18 years
Maximum age: 42 years (as on the last date of application)

Other Requirements:

Application Fee:
