Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has announced a walk-in interview notification for engagement of Guest/Contractual Lecturers for the Academic Session 2024–25. The recruitment is being conducted for various disciplines under the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Division of Veterinary Clinical Complex, and Faculty of Horticulture.
As per the official notice issued by SKUAST-K, a total of 20 posts are available. The selection of candidates will be based on interview performance, and candidates are required to meet the essential qualification criteria including Master’s or Ph.D. as per UGC guidelines. The walk-in interviews are scheduled on 20th and 21st May 2025.
Eligible candidates are advised to report at the Directorate of Education, SKUAST-K, Main Campus, Shalimar for the interview. A bank draft of Rs. 500 must be submitted along with the application. Interested applicants should bring all required documents and report one hour before the scheduled time.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned/relevant subject. A Ph.D. with coursework in the relevant field is required as per UGC/ICAR guidelines. NET/SLET/SET is also a requirement unless exempted as per UGC norms. Those with foreign Ph.D.s must have graduated from a university ranked in the global top 500.
Age Limit:
