The Defence Research and Development Organisation – Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (DRDO LRDE) has officially released the notification for Apprentice recruitment for the year 2025-26. A total of 30 positions are available under Technician (Vocational) Apprentice categories.
As per the official notification, the minimum age for all applicants is 18 years, and the upper age limit will be applicable as per Government of India norms. This apprenticeship is for one year, and candidates who have passed qualifying exams in 2023 or later are eligible. Higher-qualified candidates or those with job experience or past apprenticeship are not eligible.

Eligibility Criteria of DRDO LRDE Apprentice Posts: Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.
Educational Qualifications:
Technician (Vocational) Apprentices: ITI certificate from NCVT in related trades such as COPA, Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Draughtsman, Photographer, etc.
The minimum age is 18 years as of the closing date. Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination in 2023 or later are eligible to apply. Applicants with higher qualifications, past apprenticeship experience, or job experience are not eligible.
Candidates must be regular pass-outs and must not have their results pending. Those who have passed as private or correspondence students are not eligible.
