Airports Authority of India announces 135 Apprentices (Graduate, Diploma, ITI) Posts

Airports Authority of India has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for 135 Apprenticeship Posts in Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Trades. These vacancies are offered under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for the Eastern Region including multiple airports.

As per the official notification issued by AAI, the maximum age for applicants is 26 years as on 31st March 2025. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 for Graduate Apprentices, Rs. 12,000 for Diploma Apprentices, and Rs. 9,000 for ITI Trade Apprentices. The final selection will be based on academic merit followed by document verification and a medical examination.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official NATS or Apprenticeship India portals before the last date, 31 May 2025. Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.

Candidates must possess a full-time (regular) four-year degree or a three-year diploma in Engineering in relevant streams for Graduate and Diploma Apprentices. For ITI Trade Apprentices, a valid ITI/NCVT certificate in the specified trades is required. All qualifications must be recognized by AICTE, Government of India. Applicants should have passed their degree/diploma in 2023 or later. Only Indian nationals from Eastern Region states such as West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, and Andaman Nicobar are eligible.

The maximum age limit is 26 years as on 31 March 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and PWBD categories as per Government rules. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently enrolled in apprenticeship training with the same qualification are not eligible.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of merit from the qualifying examination. In the case of equal marks, date of birth and then date of passing will be used to determine seniority. Selected candidates will undergo document verification and medical fitness tests before final appointment.
