The Indian Space Research Organisation – National Remote Sensing Centre (ISRO NRSC) has officially released a notification inviting applications for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts. A total of 31 positions are available across various disciplines such as Forestry, Geoinformatics, Geology, Geophysics, Urban Studies, and Water Resources.
As per the official ISRO NRSC Scientist/Engineer notification 2025, candidates must possess the relevant postgraduate and undergraduate degrees in their respective specialization fields. Educational Qualifications:
For each specialization, candidates must have both postgraduate and undergraduate degrees relevant to their field:
Forestry & Ecology: M.Sc. in Botany/Forestry with B.Sc. in Botany/Forestry/Ecology.
Geoinformatics: M.Sc. in Geoinformatics with B.Sc. in Physics/Maths.
Geology: M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology with B.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology.
Geophysics: M.Sc./M.Sc. Tech in Geophysics with B.Sc. in Physics/Maths/Geology.
Urban Studies: M.E./M.Tech in Urban/Regional Planning with B.E./B.Tech in Planning or B.Arch.
Water Resources: M.E./M.Tech in Civil/Agriculture Engineering with specialization in Water Resources, Hydrology, or Soil & Water Conservation with B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Agriculture Engineering.
Geo-informatics: M.E./M.Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS/Geoinformatics/AI & ML with B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Geoinformatics
