Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora has released Admission Notification No. 02 of 2025 for undergraduate, integrated and polytechnic diploma programmes. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the academic session 2025.
As per the official notification, the admission is open for a wide range of programs including B.Tech, B.Sc., B.A., B.Voc., BS-DYoD, MBA (Integrated) and various diploma courses. The selection will primarily be based on CUET UG 2025 scores for most programs. Non-CUET applicants may also be considered later based on university-specific entrance tests or merit in qualifying exams.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Undergraduate Programmes: Candidates must have passed 10+2 from J&K Board or any recognized board with required subject combinations and minimum qualifying marks (ranging from 45% to 55% depending on the course).
For Integrated MBA: 10+2 with minimum 50% marks from any recognized board.
For Diploma Programmes: 10th pass with minimum 35% marks and Science & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply online through the official portal www.iust.ac.in from 07-05-2025 to 19-05-2025 by completing the registration, filling the form, uploading documents and submitting the fee.
Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs. 500/- for the first program and Rs. 200/- for each additional program. Fee is to be paid through online mode only.
Selection Process:
Selection for most undergraduate programs will be based on CUET UG 2025 performance. However, for non-CUET applicants, university may conduct separate entrance exams or consider merit in qualifying exams for vacant seats. Polytechnic and B.Voc. selection procedure will be notified separately.
