RITES Limited, a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has released an official notification inviting online applications for the position of Site Assessor. The post is being offered on a contract basis for project sites located across the southern region including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Lakshadweep.
As per the notification, a total of 6 posts are available. Applicants must hold an ITI certificate in relevant electrical trades along with one year of post-qualification experience in solar PV systems. The maximum age limit is 40 years as on 19 May 2025. Educational Qualifications
Matriculation with ITI Tradesmanship in Electrical, Electrician Power Distribution, Electrician Mechanics, Instrument Mechanics, Technician Power Electronics Systems, or Electrician from NCVT/SCVT-recognized institutions.
Experience
Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in Solar PV systems (installation, commissioning, material testing, field inspection, and quality assurance).
Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 40 years as on 19 May 2025. Age Relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD as per government norms.
