The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released the official notification inviting applications for one-year apprenticeship training at Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) and Directorate of Planning & Coordination (DP&C), DRDO HQ, New Delhi. The apprenticeship will be under the Apprentices Act 1961.
As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO DESIDOC Apprentice Recruitment 2025, the upper age limit for the mentioned posts is 28 years with relaxation for reserved categories. The apprenticeship is for a tenure of one year only and selected candidates must register themselves on the NATS portal. This recruitment drive aims to fill 30 apprenticeship vacancies in following subjects at DESIDOC and DP&C units.
1) Library & Information Science: 20
2) Computer Science: 07
3) Photography/Videography: 02
4) Printing Technology: 01
Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: For Library & Information Science, candidates must have a graduate degree with a one-year diploma in Library Science or a 3-year diploma. For Computer Science, a 3-year diploma is required. For Photography/Videography, candidates must have a 3-year diploma or an ITI Certificate. For Printing Technology, a 3-year diploma is required.
Age Limit: The maximum age is 28 years as on the closing date. Relaxations are applicable as follows: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC.
Other Requirements: Candidates must be registered on the NATS portal. Those who have already undergone apprenticeship training or have job experience are not eligible. Postgraduate candidates are not eligible.

Selection Process:
