UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research (UGC-DAE CSR) has released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Scientist-D. The position is initially for posting at Mumbai Centre and is open to candidates with strong academic and research credentials in Experimental Devices Physics.
As per Advertisement No. 01-2025, the application process is both online and offline. Applicants must submit their online form by 2 May 2025 (5:00 PM) and send the printed copy with relevant documents to the Consortium office in Indore by 8 May 2025. Selection will be through written tests or interviews at designated centres.
Candidates applying must meet the required qualifications and experience, including research publications in peer-reviewed journals. The post carries Level-11 pay as per the 7th CPC.

Eligibility Criteria:

1) Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics with 5 years of research experience in Experimental Devices Physics OR Ph.D. in Physics with research experience in Experimental Devices Physics
2) Experience: Minimum three publications in peer-reviewed journals demonstrating relevant expertise
3) Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years as on the last date of receipt of the online application

Application Fee: The application fee is ₹1000 for General/OBC/EWS category candidates. However, Women, SC, ST, and PWD candidates are exempted from the fee. Fee must be paid via SBI Collect (Category: Misc Receipt).
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on a written test and/or personal interview. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email. The institute reserves the right to modify the selection process if necessary.
