The Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has officially released a notification for the appointment of Scientists under various grades. The recruitment aims to fill a total of 21 vacancies across Scientist F, E, D, and C posts in fields like Naval Architecture, Marine, Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Medicine.
As per the notification, the online application process is currently open and will close on 9 May 2025 at 4:00 PM. Eligible candidates with the required qualifications and relevant years of experience can apply through the official website rac.gov.in. The posts are for permanent roles with pay levels ranging from Level 11 to Level 13A.

2) Scientist E: 04 (Basic Pay: Rs. 1,23,100/-)
3) Scientist D: 04 (Basic Pay: Rs. 78,800/-)
4) Scientist C: 12 (Basic Pay: Rs. 67,700/-)
Eligibility Criteria:

1) Educational Qualification:
Scientist F: First Class Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture/Marine/Civil Engineering.
Scientist E: First Class Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines such as Naval Architecture or Chemical.
Scientist D: First Class Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace Engineering.
Scientist C: First Class Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electronics/Nuclear Medicine.
2) Age Limit (as on 09 May 2025):
Scientist F, E, D: Not exceeding 50 years
Scientist C: Not exceeding 40 years

Application Fee:
The application fee for the recruitment process is ₹100 for General, OBC, and EWS male candidates. However SC, ST, Divyang, and all Women candidates are exempted from the application fee.
Selection Process:
