The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the notification for the UGC NET June 2025 cycle on April 16, 2025. This examination is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professor roles and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.
As per the notification, the online application process began on April 16 and will continue until May 7, 2025. Interested candidates must visit the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in to fill and submit their applications. The UGC NET June 2025 will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 85 different subjects.

Eligibility Criteria of UGC NET June 2025:
Candidates applying must have a postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Third Gender). Final year students may also apply. The upper age limit for JRF is 30 years, while there is no age limit for Assistant Professor eligibility. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.
