WAPCOS Limited has issued a notification inviting applications from experienced and qualified individuals for empanelment as experts and engineers in various technical categories. These roles are part of the Assam Intra State Transmission System Enhancement Project (Phase II) under AEGCL.
The opportunity is open to professionals under the age of 65 with relevant qualifications and work experience in transmission, substation, procurement, social safeguard, and environmental domains. Applicants selected for empanelment will be engaged on short or long-term basis depending on project needs.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have relevant engineering degrees such as B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, or related fields. Postgraduate degrees in Engineering, Finance, Environmental Science, or Social Sciences are also accepted for respective expert roles. Diplomas are accepted for junior support roles.
Age Limit
Applicants must be below 65 years of age as on the date of proposal submission for most posts.
Other Requirements
Experience requirements vary between 2 to 15 years depending on the role. Preference will be given to those with experience in Externally Aided Projects, PMC services, and international funding institutions. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SCADA, financial modeling, EIA/ESIA reporting, and contract management is expected for relevant posts.
