VRDE-DRDO Hiring Junior Research Fellows, Monthly Stipend Up To Rs. 37000
Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (VRDE) under the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has released an official notification inviting applications for Junior Research Fellowship positions. The fellowship is available in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. A total of 11 vacancies have been announced.
As per the official notification, candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in the First Division with a valid GATE score or an M.E./M.Tech degree in the First Division at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000 along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per committee guidelines.
Interested applicants must attend the walk-in interview on the scheduled dates with the completed application form and necessary documents. The tenure for this fellowship is initially two years, extendable for an additional two years based on performance and committee requirements.

The registration process for this fellowship began on 18 March 2025. The walk-in interview dates are scheduled for 21 April 2025 to 23 April 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying must meet the following eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech degree in First Division with a valid GATE score or M.E./M.Tech with First Division at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels.
Age Limit:
Maximum age limit is 28 years as of the interview date. Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
Other Requirements:
Candidates must provide a caste certificate if applicable.

Selection Process:
The selection process includes a written test followed by an interview. Shortlisting of eligible candidates will be done on the interview day, and shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews the same day.
