Government Medical College, Srinagar, has issued an official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for the tenure-based posts of Senior Residents/Tutors in various disciplines. The positions are open only to candidates domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir who meet the required academic and professional qualifications.
As per the official notice, candidates not currently in service will be engaged under S.O. 364 of 2020 (Academic Arrangement basis). In-service candidates must fulfill all prerequisites as per J&K Civil Service Rules 1979 and provide an NOC from their parent department as specified in Circular No. 03-HME of 2019. The initial engagement period is one year, extendable up to three years based on annual performance assessments.

Eligibility:
Candidates must have MD/MS/DNB in the relevant discipline from a NMC-recognized institution. For Biochemistry, both medical and non-medical candidates are eligible, with medical candidates requiring an MD/DNB in Biochemistry, while non-medical candidates must have an MSc (Medical).
