UPSC Recruitment Notification 2025 Out for 213 Posts, Apply Online till 2nd October

UPSC has released Advt. No. 13/2025 for 213 posts including Medical Officer, Lecturer, Accounts Officer and others. Apply online before 2nd October 2025.

Union Public Service Commission has released the official notification inviting applications for various positions including Medical Officer, Lecturer, Legal Adviser, Accounts Officer and others. A total of 213 vacancies are open under Advt. No. 13/2025.

As per the UPSC Notification 2025, the maximum age limit and qualifications vary as per the post. Candidates appointed to these roles will receive pay scales as per central government norms. The selection will be done through Recruitment Test followed by Interview or Interview only.

Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions can apply online at the official UPSC website upsc.gov.in. The application process is open now and will close on 02 October 2025. The application fee is Rs. 25 for general category while Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted. Post-wise vacancy, eligibility and selection process are summarized below.

Vacancy Details:
UPSC has invited applications from candidates fulfilling the required criteria to fill up the following vacant positions.

Additional Government Advocate: 5 posts.
Additional Legal Adviser: 18 posts.
Assistant Government Advocate: 1 post.
Deputy Government Advocate: 2 posts.
Deputy Legal Adviser: 12 posts.
Lecturer (Urdu): 15 posts.
Medical Officer: 125 posts.
Accounts Officer: 32 posts.
Assistant Director: 3 posts.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who want to apply for the mentioned posts must hold the required qualification and age limit as specified in the official notification. The details of educational qualification and upper age limit differ post to post.

How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official UPSC website upsc.gov.in by filling the form and paying the fee before the last date.

Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs. 25 for General/OBC/EWS categories. Female candidates and candidates from SC, ST, PwBD categories are exempted from fee payment. The fee can be paid through SBI branch cash, internet banking, debit or credit card, or UPI payment.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on Recruitment Test followed by Interview or Interview only. The minimum suitability marks in the interview stage are UR/EWS 50 marks, OBC 45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD 40 marks out of 100. Candidates have to score the minimum prescribed marks in their category to be considered for final selection.
