Eligibility Criteria of UPSC CMS 2025
The qualification and age limit for UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2025 are given as follows:
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have passed the final MBBS examination from a recognized university.
- Candidates appearing for the final MBBS examination can also apply, provided they submit proof of passing before the interview.
- Internship: Candidates must have completed or be in the process of completing their compulsory rotating internship.
Age Limit
- Maximum 32 years (as of 1st August 2025). For Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre, the upper age limit is 35 years.

- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years

- Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deduction per wrong answer
