The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released Advertisement No. 03/2025 for the recruitment of 111 posts in various departments and ministries of the Government of India. The posts include System Analyst, Assistant Engineers (Naval Quality Assurance), Deputy Controller of Explosives, Joint Assistant Director, Assistant Legislative Counsel, and Assistant Public Prosecutor.
As per the notification, these are permanent Group “A” and “B” gazetted positions with pay levels ranging from Level 07 to Level 11 as per 7th CPC. - Educational Qualifications:
System Analyst: Master’s in CS/IT or B.E/B.Tech with 3 years’ experience - Deputy Controller: Degree in Chemical Engg. or M.Sc. in Chemistry + 3 years’ experience
- Assistant Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical): Engineering Degree + 2 years’ experience
- Joint Assistant Director: B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. in CS, IT, ECE or related fields
- Assistant Legislative Counsel: LLB or LLM + 5–7 years of experience in legal drafting or related roles
- Assistant Public Prosecutor: Law degree + 3 years’ experience as advocate
Age Limit: Age Limit as on 01 May 2025 is given as;
- 30 years: Most posts including AE and APP
- 35 years: System Analyst
- 40 years: Assistant Legislative Counsel
- Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, others as per rules
How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply through the UPSC ORA portal.
Application Fee: The application fee for the recruitment process is ₹25 for General/OBC/EWS male candidates. However, SC/ST/PwBD/Female candidates are exempted from fee. Fee can be paid via UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card or SBI Challan.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be through shortlisting followed by a personal interview.
Shortlisting will be based on higher qualifications, desirable qualifications, experience, or a Recruitment Test (if required).
Final merit will be based on interview marks or combined test and interview marks (if applicable).
