The University of Kashmir has announced an online application process for the Pharmacist positions available in the University Health Centre. These posts are open to domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir belonging to the UR and SC categories. According to the official notice, the upper age limit varies by category. The age should not be below eighteen years as on the first of January 2025. The maximum age is forty years for open merit candidates, forty two years for physically challenged applicants, forty three years for SC, ST, RBA, LAC, PSP and EWS categories, and fifty years for in-service employees of the University. The essential qualification for the post is ten plus two with science along with a degree or diploma in pharmacy from a recognized institute.
Eligible candidates can submit their application forms through the University of Kashmir website from three December two thousand twenty five. The last date for submitting the online form is December 26, 2025, and in-service candidates must submit hard copies through proper channel by thirty one December two thousand twenty five. Vacancy Details:
This notification aims to fill two posts of Pharmacist in the University Health Centre. One post is for the UR category under Post Code PGD-HC-1 and one post is for the SC category under Post Code PGD-HC-2. The pay level for the post is Level 04 with a salary range of twenty five thousand five hundred to eighty one thousand one hundred. One post is likely to become vacant on the first of May two thousand twenty six.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for these posts must meet the essential qualifications as prescribed. The required qualification is 10+2 with science along with a degree or diploma in pharmacy from any recognized institute.
The age limit is not below eighteen years and not above the category wise limits listed in the notification (40 years in case of OM). Physically challenged candidates have a relaxation up to forty two years, SC, ST, RBA, LAC, PSP and EWS candidates up to forty three years, and substantive in-service employees of the University up to fifty years.

The application fee is Rs. 750 which must be paid online. Persons with benchmark disabilities are exempted from paying the fee.
