The University of Kashmir has invited online applications for admission to various Diploma and Certificate Courses offered at the Main Campus for the academic session 2025. These programmes are based on 10th and 12th qualifications, and admissions will be carried out strictly as per the eligibility guidelines mentioned in the Prospectus 2025.
As per Admission Notification No. 07 (B) of 2025, candidates who have passed 10th or 12th, depending on the course requirement, are eligible to apply. The last date for online submission of application forms is 4 July 2025. Applications must be submitted through the University’s official website.
Admission window for the University of Kashmir diploma and certificate courses begins from 19 June 2025. The last date for submission of online forms is 4 July 2025.
The University is offering the following Diploma and Certificate Courses:
- Diploma in German
- Diploma in French
- Diploma in Russian
- Certificate Course in Hindi
- Certificate Course in Modern Spoken Persian
- Certificate Course in German
- Certificate Course in French
- Certificate Course in Russian
- Certificate Course in Sanskrit
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for these programmes must have passed 10th for 10th-based courses and 12th for 12th-based courses. Detailed eligibility conditions for each course are outlined in the Prospectus-2025 available on the official website of the University of Kashmir.
How to Apply:
Eligible applicants must visit the official University of Kashmir website, go to the Admissions section, and register themselves before submitting the application form. Applicants must upload a passport-size photo and fill in the form with accurate details. Once submitted, a printout of the form and fee receipt must be retained.
Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs. 550 (which includes IT and processing charges). For each additional programme applied for, a fee of Rs. 250 will be charged. All payments are to be made through online mode only.
The Directorate will not verify any documents at the time of form submission. However, the respective departments will check all documents during admission formalities. If any discrepancy is found, the admission will be cancelled immediately.
Applicants must ensure their application status shows “Fee Received” within three days of submission. If not, they should report to the IT Cell, near DSW Office, University of Kashmir by 6 July 2025 with relevant documents. No claims will be entertained after that.
Candidates should not submit hard copies of the application form or fee receipt to the University but must retain them for future reference.
