The University of Jammu has issued an official advertisement inviting applications from eligible PG students for two temporary project positions under the Trans-Disciplinary Research Scheme (TDRS). These positions are part of a research project titled “Enriching J&K’s Literature through Artificial Intelligence-based Preservation to enhance accessibility and dissemination of Rare Books.”
The opportunity is open to PG students of Semesters I & II, preferably from the University’s English and Computer Science/IT departments. The selected candidates will be engaged in research-related tasks such as fieldwork, data collection, and handling of technical equipment.
The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Interested applicants must submit both hard and soft copies of their applications within 7 days from the date of notification, addressed to Dr. Sadaf Shah, Department of English, University of Jammu.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a PG degree program at the University of Jammu. For the English stream post, the candidate should have knowledge of annotation, abstracting, and summarising texts. For the Computer Science/IT post, the candidate should have knowledge of Artificial Intelligence algorithms with Python.
