UGC NET December 2024 exam scheduled for January 15 postponed due to festivals. Check new exam date, details, and official notice at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the UGC NET December 2024 examination originally scheduled for January 15, 2025. Candidates are advised to check the official notice available on the UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

NTA announced the postponement after receiving requests from candidates to reschedule the exam due to Pongal, Makar Sankranti, and other festivals on January 15, 2025.

As per the official notice:
• Only the exam scheduled for January 15, 2025, has been postponed.
• The new date for the rescheduled exam will be announced later.
• Examinations scheduled for other days, including January 16, 2025, will be conducted as per the original timetable.

UGC NET December 2024 Examination Details

• Exam Dates: January 3 to January 16, 2025
• Subjects Covered: 85 subjects
• Mode of Exam: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Shifts:
‣ First Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
‣ Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Question Pattern: Objective type, multiple-choice questions with no breaks between papers.
• Language: English and Hindi (except for language papers).

UGC NET December 2024 admit cards are available on the official website. Candidates can download them for all examination days.
