UCIL has announced a notification inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens for regular posts across different disciplines. The notification includes multiple technical and non-technical positions, and candidates must apply through the online application portal within the given dates.
As stated in the official notice, the maximum age limit varies by post and category, with relaxation allowed as per government rules. The selection will be based on written tests, trade tests, psychometric tests or interviews depending on the response received. Candidates selected will receive pay as per the prescribed pay scales for each post.

The registration process for UCIL vacancies will begin from 01-12-2025. The opening date for applications is 01-12-2025 at 10:00 AM and the last date for submission is 31-12-2025 at 11:59 PM.
Vacancy Details:
UCIL has invited applications to fill Mining Mate C, Winding Engine Driver B and Boiler-cum-Compressor Attendant A posts. Mining Mate C has 35 vacancies including SC 13, ST 9, OBC 5, EWS 13 and UR 35. Winding Engine Driver B has 9 vacancies including ST 3, OBC 1, EWS 2 and UR 3. Boiler-cum-Compressor Attendant A has 3 vacancies including ST 1, EWS 1 and UR 1.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates can review the eligibility criteria before applying for any post. Mining Mate C requires Class 10 with a valid Restricted or Unrestricted Certificate of Competency with at least three years of experience. For open cast mines, a competency certificate for metalliferous mines is needed with at least one year of experience. The age limit is 40 years with relaxations as applicable. Winding Engine Driver B requires matriculation with a First Class Winding Engine Driver Certificate and more than three years of experience as Winding Engine Driver. The age limit is 32 years. Boiler-cum-Compressor Attendant A requires matriculation with a First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate and one year of relevant experience. The age limit is 30 years.
