Steel Authority of India Walk-in Interview Announced for 12 Paramedical Proficiency Trainee Vacancies

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur, has released an official notification inviting eligible candidates for walk-in interviews for the post of Proficiency Trainees in the Paramedical category. The opportunity is open for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in a 336-bedded multi-specialty hospital.

As per the notification dated 19 April 2025, the maximum age for the applicants is 35 years for general category and 38 years for OBC (NCL) candidates. The walk-in interview is scheduled for 05 May 2025 at Burnpur, West Bengal. Applicants will be selected based solely on their performance in the interview.

Interested candidates must carry a filled application form, original documents, and self-attested photocopies to the interview venue. The application form can be submitted via email before 03 May 2025. The post is purely for training and offers a fixed monthly stipend.

Walk-in Interview Schedule:
The walk-in interview for SAIL Proficiency Trainees (Paramedics) will be held on 05 May 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Confluence, SAIL-ISP, Opposite Post Office, P.O. Burnpur – 713325, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal.

Vacancy Details:
This recruitment drive aims to fill 12 posts under the Proficiency Trainees program. The distribution of vacancies is as follows: X-Ray Technician (1), Pharmacist (5), PFT Technician (1), Dental Hygienist (1), Dental Assistant (1), Physiotherapist (1), Audiometrist (1), and Critical Care Technician (1).

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: All posts require a 10+2 qualification along with a diploma in the relevant paramedical discipline from a government-recognized institute.

Age Limit: Maximum age is 35 years for general category and 38 years for OBC (NCL) candidates as of 19 April 2025.
