Eligibility Criteria of SSC LDC Vacancies
Since multiple services are involved, eligibility is given service-wise below.

General Conditions:
Candidates must be regularly appointed Stenographer Grade D or Grade III. Eligibility will be verified through service records and conduct reports.

No specific age limit is prescribed. Eligibility is based on approved service length as on 01 July 2025.
Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages.
Part A: Computer Based Examination
Part B: Shorthand Skill Test
Part C: Evaluation of Record of Service
Final selection will be based on combined performance in all stages.

Candidates must apply online through the new SSC website. Applications through any other mode will not be accepted.
Steps include One Time Registration, filling online application form, uploading documents, and forwarding printed application through controlling authority to SSC Northern Region.
