Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir has issued an advertisement inviting applications for one post of Project Assistant. The position is available in the research project entitled Demonstration, Validation and Popularization of Nano-fertilizer for Sustainable Agriculture Development in Kashmir Valley sponsored by the Science and Technology and Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology, Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the notification, candidates must be enrolled in M.Sc. or Ph.D. courses at SKUAST-Kashmir and should have completed their coursework and research work in line with the objectives of the sanctioned project. The post is temporary and will be co-terminus with the duration of the project. The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 10,000.

A walk-in interview will also be conducted on the same day at 2:15 pm in the Division of Soil Science, Faculty of Horticulture, SKUAST-K, Shalimar.

Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant must be an enrolled M.Sc. or Ph.D. student of SKUAST-Kashmir in Agriculture, Soil Science, Horticulture, or Fruit Science. Candidates must have completed their course work and be engaged in research work consistent with the project’s objectives. Evaluation and use of nano-fertilizers in horticultural crops, demonstration in fruit orchards, and fertilizer use efficiency studies will be the key responsibilities.
