Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir) has released an admission notice inviting online applications for One-Year Basic Agriculture Training (BAT) and Basic Horticulture Training (BHT) courses for the academic session 2026-27. The admission is open to eligible candidates who are domiciles of Kashmir Province of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
A total of 20 seats are available per district for BAT and BHT courses. Selection of candidates will be made through a written test conducted by the University. Interested candidates must check the eligibility criteria and submit the online application before the last date mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria of SKUAST BAT & BHT Admission 2026-27
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) with minimum 40% aggregate marks from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 17 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age will be calculated as on 31 December 2026.
Reservation:
- Reservation of seats will be governed by the Reservation Policy of the Government of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
- Candidates claiming reservation must produce valid certificates issued by competent authority at the time of verification.
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates under General and Reserved categories will be made district-wise strictly on the basis of merit obtained in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the University.
The syllabus, scheme and pattern of the Written Test will be notified separately by the Controller of Examination, SKUAST-Kashmir.
