SKUAST Jammu Teaching Posts 2025 Notification, Apply Now
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Jammu has announced a recruitment notification for the engagement of Contractual Assistant Professors on an academic arrangement basis. The recruitment is for various disciplines under the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (FVSc & AH), R.S. Pura, Jammu for the academic session 2025-26.
The application process is offline, and interested candidates must submit their completed application forms before 3rd April 2025. The selection will be based on an interview scheduled for 8th April 2025 at the Dean’s Office, FVSc & AH, SKUAST-Jammu, R.S. Pura.

Vacancy Details:
SKUAST Jammu is recruiting for the following Contractual Teaching positions:
Assistant Professor (Veterinary Microbiology & Immunology) – 01 Post
Assistant Professor (Animal Genetics & Breeding) – 01 Post
Assistant Professor (Veterinary Medicine) – 02 Posts
Assistant Professor (Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology) – 01 Post
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for these positions must meet the required qualifications and experience.
Qualification:
Post-graduation in the concerned subject with high second class (55% marks) from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with Doctoral Degree and NET qualification.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 20 to 55 years as of the date of advertisement publication.
Pay Scale:
For Master’s Degree holders the salary is ₹35,000 per month and for Ph.D. holders is ₹45,000 per month.

Selection Process:
The selection will be based on an offline interview, which will be conducted at the Dean’s Office, FVSc & AH, SKUAST-Jammu, R.S. Pura, on 8th April 2025. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
