Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu has issued a notification inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals for various project positions under the ANRF funded PAIR programme. The project focuses on AI-driven agriculture systems to improve market linkages and efficiency for traditional agricultural products. There are four positions open across different roles.
As per the details shared in the official notification, the upper age limit for these posts will be followed as per ANRF guidelines. Selected candidates will receive monthly emoluments ranging from 33,000 plus HRA to 1,50,000 consolidated, depending on the post. The selection process will include shortlisting and an interview, as notified by the university.

Vacancy Details:
This recruitment drive aims to fill the following positions. Senior Project Manager with one post. Principal Project Associate with one post. Project Associate II(b) with two posts.
Eligibility Criteria:

Senior Project Manager: Doctorate degree in agricultural or allied sciences or a master’s degree in engineering or technology in relevant fields with a minimum of five years of professional experience.
Principal Project Associate: Bachelor’s degree in natural or agricultural sciences or a master’s degree in these areas or engineering along with eight years of experience.
Project Associate II(b): Bachelor’s or master’s degree in natural or agricultural sciences or engineering, with desirable experience of two years in relevant R&D domains. Desirable skills include experience in AI tools, data analytics, digital agriculture, stakeholder coordination, value chain studies, documentation and communication material preparation. Age limit will be as per ANRF rules.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria must submit their applications through offline mode only. Hard copies must be sent via Registered Post or Speed Post to the Directorate of Research, SKUAST Jammu, Chatha.
Candidates are required to pay no application fee as per the notification details available. The payment mode is not applicable for these positions.

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of shortlisting followed by an interview. Shortlisting may include higher criteria set by the selection committee as per project needs. The interview date will be notified on the university website.
