Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu has issued a notification inviting applications for two contractual Assistant Professor positions. These posts are offered on an academic arrangement basis in the Division of Veterinary Microbiology and Immunology to teach UG and PG courses.
According to the notice, the posts are temporary and the engagement will be purely on contract for the academic session 2025–26. The wages for selected candidates will be paid on a consolidated basis, and the age requirement is between 20 and 55 years.

Eligibility criteria:
Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55 percent marks from a recognized university. Desirable qualifications include a doctoral degree in the relevant subject, prior teaching experience and NET. Candidates must fall within the age limit of 20 to 55 years. The consolidated wages are 35000 rupees per month for a postgraduate degree holder and 45000 rupees per month for a doctoral degree holder. All candidates must follow conditions of academic engagement as specified in the notice.

Candidates must submit the application form in the prescribed format along with required documents and a fee receipt. The application must reach the office of the Head, Division of Veterinary Microbiology and Immunology, SKUAST Jammu before the closing date.
Application fee:
Candidates must pay 300 rupees through DD or postal order in favour of Dean, F.V.Sc & A.H., payable at R.S. Pura. The fee must be attached with the application form.
Selection process:
Selection will be based on eligibility evaluation and academic arrangement requirements. Only eligible candidates will be called for the interview. No TA or DA will be provided for attending the interview. Final engagement will follow university norms and approval.
