Eligibility Criteria of SKUAST Jammu Non Teaching Posts Recruitment 2025
The eligibility criteria for University Librarian, and Registrar posts are below:
Educational Qualifications
- University Librarian:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum of 10 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 10 years of teaching as an Associate Professor in Library Science.
- Evidence of innovative library services and integration of ICT in libraries.
- Ph.D. in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/Archives and Manuscript-Keeping.
- Registrar:
- First Class Master’s Degree (Preferably in Agriculture/Veterinary or Allied Sciences).
- 15 years of administrative/academic experience in a University/Government/autonomous body, with at least 8 years in the rank of Associate Professor/Deputy Registrar or equivalent.
- Experience in personnel management, establishment work, and knowledge of service rules.
- Desirable: Degree in Law and knowledge of the modern agricultural education system.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 55 years as of January 1, 2025
- Age relaxation as per SKUAST-J statutes.
