Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) has issued an official advertisement inviting applications for Assistant Professor Posts in the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering. These posts will be filled on an academic arrangement basis for the first semester of the academic session 2025-26.
The positions are available in the Division of Basic Engineering & Science, and the selected candidates will be engaged purely on contract basis. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline, while preference will be given to candidates with Ph.D., NET qualification, or prior teaching experience.
Eligible candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format available on the university website www.skuast.org. The last date for submission of forms and required documents is 24 July 2025. The interview will be conducted offline in the first week of August 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should possess a B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline along with M.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or Computer Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D., NET qualification, or relevant teaching experience.
The upper age limit is 55 years, and the minimum age should not be less than 20 years as of 01 June 2025.

Candidates must apply offline by submitting a filled-in application form along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents and a demand draft of Rs. 300 in favor of Accounts Officer, FoAE, SKUAST-Jammu. The application fee is Rs. 300, to be submitted through a demand draft drawn in favor of Accounts Officer, FoAE, SKUAST-Jammu.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on an offline interview scheduled for the first week of August 2025 at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Main Campus, Chatha. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
