Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu has issued a detailed notification inviting applications for the post of Assistant Director Resident Instructions. There is one vacancy available for eligible candidates who are domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the official notification of SKUAST Jammu, the age limit for this post varies for different categories and is calculated as on 01 January 2025. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary under Pay Level 10. The selection process will include a written test and an interview.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in the post must meet the required educational qualification, age limit and other conditions as mentioned in the official notification. The required qualification includes a master’s degree with at least 55 percent marks in Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences or allied fields. A Ph.D. in Agriculture or allied sciences is also required, though candidates possessing a postgraduate degree in Veterinary Science are exempt from the Ph.D. requirement. NET qualification is also mandatory. The age limit ranges between 18 and 50 years depending on the category as mentioned in the notification. Only candidates who are domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir are eligible to apply.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria must submit the offline application form along with a detailed CV, documents, and the fee through Speed Post or Registered Post to the Registrar, SKUAST Jammu, Chatha. All documents must reach on or before the last date mentioned in the notification.
Candidates must pay an application fee of one thousand rupees through a bank demand draft drawn in favour of Comptroller, SKUAST Jammu payable at Jammu. Applications submitted without the prescribed fee will not be considered.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of a written test carrying 80 percent weightage and an interview carrying 20 percent weightage. The syllabus for the written test is provided in the notification and can be checked on the official website.
