Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) has released an official notification inviting eligible candidates for walk-in interviews for temporary Assistant Professor positions. The posts are available in the Faculty of Dairy Technology, R.S. Pura, Jammu, under academic arrangement.
As per the notification, there are 2 vacancies for the post of Assistant Professor in Dairy Business Management. The interview will be held on 22 September 2025 at 11:00 AM in the office of the Dean, Faculty of Dairy Technology, SKUAST-J, R.S. Pura, Jammu (J&K). Selected candidates will be engaged on a contractual basis with a monthly salary of Rs 35,000 for Master’s degree holders and Rs 45,000 for Ph.D. degree holders.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Dairy Business Management, Dairy Economics, Agricultural Economics, Agri Business Management, Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned disciplines mentioned above will also be considered eligible even if they do not have a Master’s in the listed subjects. The engagement is purely contractual and for one semester, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 300 through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Dean, Faculty of Dairy Technology, payable at R.S. Pura.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on performance in the walk-in interview. The appointment will be for one semester or until regular posts are filled through recruitment, whichever is earlier. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
