Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) has invited fresh applications for contractual positions under the RKVY-RAFTAAR Project at SKUAST-J ABI Foundation. The notification has been released after the earlier recruitment process was cancelled due to flooding at the Chatha campus. Eligible and interested candidates can now apply for the available posts before the closing date.
As per Advertisement No. 04 of 2025 of ABIF dated October 31, 2025, two posts have been announced — Business Manager and Office Assistant. The selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis with a monthly remuneration of Rs. 1.00 lakh and Rs. 30,000 respectively. The engagement will be made to support the operations of the Agri-Business Incubation Centre.
Candidates must submit their application forms along with the required documents and prescribed fee before the deadline of November 25, 2025. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained. All interested candidates are advised to carefully check the eligibility criteria before applying.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for the Business Manager post must have relevant qualifications and experience as per the official notification. The Office Assistant post also requires candidates to meet the prescribed educational and professional criteria. The age limit for all posts will be considered as on January 1, 2025.

Application Fee:
Applicants are required to pay an application fee in the form of a demand draft in favour of the Comptroller, SKUAST-J. The fee amount is Rs. 1500 for the Business Manager post and Rs. 1000 for the Office Assistant post. Candidates who applied earlier for the same positions under the previous notification do not need to pay the fee again if they had already submitted it.
Selection Process:
The selection process will be conducted by SKUAST-J to ensure fair and transparent recruitment. It will involve scrutiny of applications followed by an interview. The date, time and venue of the interview will be announced later on the official website.
