Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited has issued the official notification for Workman Trainee posts in different disciplines. A total of 87 positions are available for candidates who are domiciles of Himachal Pradesh. The posts include Assistant (Accounts), Assistant, Driver, Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Welder, Storekeeper, and Surveyor.
As mentioned in the notification, the maximum age limit is 30 years as on 13 October 2025. Relaxations are applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-servicemen and Project Affected Families as per government rules. Candidates selected will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 21,500 at W3 level along with allowances. After successful completion of one year of training, they will be regularized in the same pay scale.
The registration process will begin on 22 September 2025 at 11 AM and the last date for submission of forms is 13 October 2025 at 6 PM. Candidates are required to apply online through the official website of SJVN. The process includes registration, filling details, uploading documents, and payment of fees.

Eligibility Criteria:
Only domiciles of Himachal Pradesh can apply. The maximum age is 30 years with relaxations as per rules. For Assistant (Accounts), candidates must hold a B.Com degree with typing speed of 40 wpm. For Assistant, a graduate degree with one year diploma in Computer Applications and typing proficiency is required. Drivers must have passed Class VIII with a valid Light Vehicle Driving License. Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Welder, and Surveyor must hold ITI qualifications in their respective trades. Storekeepers require ITI with computer proficiency.
