Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN), a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh, has officially released a notification for the recruitment of 114 Executive Trainee posts. The openings span across engineering and non-engineering disciplines, including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, HR, IT, Finance, and Law.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of SJVN from 28 April 2025. The last date for submission of the online application is 18 May 2025. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Final-year students may also apply, but their final results must be submitted by 31 July 2025.
Selected candidates will undergo one year of training. Upon successful completion, they will be absorbed as Engineers/Officers on regular basis. All candidates must review the eligibility criteria and apply within the stipulated deadline.

Educational Qualifications:
– Civil: BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
– Electrical: BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics
– Mechanical: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
– Human Resource: Graduate + MBA/PG Diploma in HR/Personnel Management
– Environment: BE/B.Tech or PG in Environmental Engineering/Science
– Geology: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology, Applied Geology, or Geophysics
– IT: BE/B.Tech in CS/IT/Computer Engineering
– Finance: CA/ICWA-CMA or MBA in Finance
– Law: 3-year or 5-year Degree in Law
Marks Required:
– UR/OBC/EWS: Minimum 55% marks
– SC/ST/PwBD: Minimum 50% marks (pass marks for CA/ICWA-CMA)
Final-year students may apply, but they must submit final results by 31 July 2025.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for UR candidates is 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
Other Requirements:
All selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the organization for at least three years after the training period.

Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹600 + 18% GST for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen are exempt from the fee. Payment is to be made online.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on a three-stage process:
– Computer Based Test (CBT)
– Group Discussion
– Personal Interview
Final selection will be based on combined performance in all three stages.
