The Semi-Conductor Laboratory (SCL), under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, has reopened the application window for the post of Assistant (Administrative Support Staff). A total of 25 vacancies will be filled under this drive through regular appointments.
As per the official extension notice, the online application portal will now remain open for 10 additional days from 17 May 2025 to 26 May 2025 up to 11:59 PM. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, ESM categories and all women applicants will be eligible for a refund of the application fee (excluding bank charges) subject to their appearance in the written examination.
The Assistant position falls under Pay Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) as per the 7th CPC. The maximum age limit for applicants is 25 years with applicable relaxations for reserved categories as per rules. The written examination is tentatively scheduled for March 2025 and will be held at examination centers in Delhi and Chandigarh/Mohali/Panchkula.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be made through a written examination. Final selection will be based solely on written exam merit. The exam will be conducted in Delhi and Chandigarh/Mohali/Panchkula as per availability.
