Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for Research Scientist, Project Assistant, and Project Technician posts. There are 6 vacancies open for the mentioned positions.
As mentioned in the official notification of SAMEER, the maximum age limit for Research Scientist posts is 30 years, and for Project Assistant and Project Technician posts, it is between 25 to 35 years, depending on experience. Selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis for a period of two years or as per project requirements. The selection process includes written/skill tests followed by an interview.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
For Research Scientist (RF & Microwaves), a B.E./B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering with at least 55% marks is required. For Research Scientist (Physics), candidates must have an M.Sc. in Physics or B.Tech in Engineering Physics with 55% marks. For Project Assistant (Physics), a B.Sc. in Physics with 55% marks is required. For Project Technician (Fitter/Turner/Machinist), ITI in the respective trade along with NCTVT certificate with 55% marks is mandatory.
Age Limit:
The upper age limit is 30 years for Research Scientist, 25 years for Project Assistant and Project Technician (A), and 35 years for Project Technician (B). No reservation or age relaxation is applicable as these are contractual posts.
Other Requirements:
For Project Technician (B) level, candidates must have 3 years or more of relevant experience.
