RITES Opens Applications for Technician Post (Chemistry/Physics) on Contract Basis

RITES Limited, a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has announced recruitment for the post of Technician on a contract basis. The position is specifically for projects in Bihar and is open under VC No. CL/10-R1/25. This is a fixed-term role, initially for one year, extendable based on project requirements and performance.

As per the official notification, candidates must hold a full-time BSc degree in Physics or Chemistry with at least 45% marks and a minimum of 3 years of experience in material testing, spectroscopy, or equivalent laboratory fields. The maximum age for applicants is 40 years as on 19 May 2025.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess a full-time BSc degree in Physics or Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized institution. Degree must be AICTE/UGC recognized.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Spectro & Material Testing (e.g., slag analysis, BHN, tensile strength, impact testing, silica sand, macro/micro examination, etc.)

Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 40 years as on 19 May 2025.
Relaxations are applicable for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD as per government norms.

Application Fee:
