RITES Ltd has released a notification for contractual appointments of Civil Engineers in its Western Region. Applications are invited for the posts of Engineer, Assistant Manager, and Manager in the Civil discipline. A total of 14 vacancies are available under this drive.
As per the notification, the selection process will include a written test followed by an interview. The appointment will be on a contract basis initially for one year and may be extended based on performance. The job location is primarily in Maharashtra, but selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Manager (Civil), candidates must have a full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with at least 7 years of experience. Assistant Manager (Civil) requires the same qualification with 4 years of relevant experience. For Engineer (Civil), the minimum required experience is 2 years. General and EWS category applicants must have a minimum of 60% in their qualifying degree, while reserved category candidates require at least 50%.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of a written test followed by an interview. The written test carries 60% weightage and the interview 40%. The interview includes evaluation of technical knowledge and personality. Minimum qualifying marks for written test are 50% (UR/EWS) and 45% (others). For interview, the cut-off is 60% (UR/EWS) and 50% (others).
