Research Associate Position at NIT Srinagar for Ministry of Coal Project – Apply by 25 June 2025

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate-I (RA-I) at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar under a research project funded by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India. The project focuses on the conversion of low-grade coal into carbon dots-based sensing strips for detecting heavy metals in water bodies.

As per the advertisement released by NIT Srinagar, there is a single vacancy for the post of Research Associate-I. The selected candidate will contribute to sensor development, field sample collection in Dhanbad (Jharkhand), and may work temporarily at NIT Jamshedpur. The engagement is initially for one year and extendable based on performance.
