RailTel Opens Online Applications for 48 Technical, Marketing & Finance Posts; Apply by 30 June

RailTel Corporation of India Limited has released an official notification inviting applications for 48 vacancies across technical, marketing, and finance departments. The posts include Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager positions in various disciplines under Advertisement No. RCIL/2025/P&A/44/3. Eligibility Criteria of RailTel Assistant and Deputy Manager Posts:

Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Manager (Technical): Diploma or M.Sc. in Electronics or equivalent.
Deputy Manager (Network/IP): B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) in Electronics/Telecom/CS/IT or M.Sc. Electronics or MCA with relevant certification (CCNA/JNCIA/NRSI or higher).
Deputy Manager (Signalling): B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/IT/CS or Diploma/PG Diploma in Rail Signalling.
Assistant Manager (Marketing): Full-time MBA or PG Diploma with specialization in Marketing/Telecom/IT.
Assistant Manager (Finance): Full-time MBA or PG Diploma in Finance.

Age Limit:
For Assistant Manager: 21 to 28 years.
For Deputy Manager: 21 to 30 years.
Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen as per rules.

Other Requirements:
Technical roles require post-qualification experience in relevant domains with minimum experience ranging from 1 to 5 years depending on the post.
Marketing and Finance posts do not require prior experience.


Application Process for RailTel Posts 2025:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply online through the official website of RailTel (www.railtel.in) from 31st May to 30th June 2025. No other mode of application is accepted.


Application Fee:
The application fee for the recruitment process is structured according to categories:
General/OBC/EWS: โ‚น1200
SC/ST/PwBD: โ‚น600 (refundable upon participation in the exam)


Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be done through an online test followed by an interview. The written test carries 150 marks and will include questions on professional subjects and general aptitude. The interview will carry 50 marks. Candidates must secure at least 60% in total (written + interview) to qualify for final selection.
