NTPC SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL) has released an official notification for hiring Assistant Officers in Environment Management and Safety. A total of 5 vacancies are available for these positions. Applications will be accepted online only from 21 April 2025 to 05 May 2025.
As per the official advertisement No. 01/2025, selected candidates will be placed in E0 grade with a starting basic pay of ₹30,000. Candidates applying for the Environment Management post must not be above 30 years, while those applying for the Safety post must be within 45 years. Final selection will be made based on an online test and a personal interview.

Candidates from the General category need to pay ₹300 as a registration fee, while SC/ST/PwBD/XSM and female candidates are exempted. Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Officer (Environment Management): Candidates must hold a graduate engineering degree in Environment with at least 60% marks or a graduate degree with a full-time PG Degree/PG Diploma/M.Sc./M.Tech. in Environment Engineering, Environment Science, or Environment Management with at least 60% marks.
Assistant Officer (Safety): Candidates should have a full-time engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Production, Chemical, Construction, or Instrumentation with a minimum of 60% marks, along with a Diploma/Advanced Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety from Central Labour Institute or Regional Labour Institute, Government of India.
Age Limit:
For Environment Management: Maximum 30 years.
For Safety: Maximum 45 years.

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay an application fee based on their category. General category candidates must pay ₹300 online. SC/ST/PwBD/XSM/female candidates are exempt from the fee.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of an online test followed by a personal interview. The online test will consist of a Subject Knowledge Test and Executive Aptitude Test, both of which must be qualified separately. Final selection will consider 85% weightage from the online test and 15% from the interview.
