Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has issued an official notification for 70 apprentice positions at Narora Atomic Power Station, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The openings include Trade Apprentice, Diploma Apprentice, and Graduate Apprentice categories.
As per the notification, the age limit varies between 18 and 26 years depending on the category of apprenticeship, with relaxations as per Government of India rules. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 7,700 to Rs. 9,000. Selection will be merit-based, considering marks obtained in the respective qualifying examination.
The application process is online and commenced on 13 August 2025. Eligible candidates must complete their registration through the relevant apprenticeship portals and submit applications on the NPCIL careers website by 2 September 2025.

Trade Apprentice – ITI Fitter: 25 posts, ITI Electrician: 16 posts, ITI Electronics Mechanic: 9 posts.
Diploma Apprentice – Mechanical: 5 posts, Electrical: 3 posts, Electronics: 2 posts.
Graduate Apprentice – Mechanical: 5 posts, Electrical: 3 posts, Civil: 2 posts.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be Indian citizens. Educational qualifications vary by category: ITI pass certificate in the relevant trade for Trade Apprentice, full-time Diploma in relevant discipline for Diploma Apprentice, and full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in relevant discipline for Graduate Apprentice. The age limit for Trade Apprentice is 18–24 years, Diploma Apprentice 18–25 years, and Graduate Apprentice 18–26 years, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories.
How to Apply:
Candidates must first register on the respective apprenticeship portals (NAPS 2.0 for Trade Apprentice and NATS 2.0 for Diploma/Graduate Apprentice) using the establishment IDs provided in the notification. Applications should then be submitted online at www.npcilcareers.co.in between 13 August and 2 September 2025, along with required documents.
Selection Process:
Selection will be based on merit, determined by percentage of marks obtained in the relevant qualification. In case of a tie, preference will be given to older candidates, and if the date of birth is the same, higher matriculation marks will be considered.
